November BUJO & Real Life Tip

Happy November! Can you believe it? I can’t. The months of 2022 have gone slowly and yet flown by at the same time.

I am taking November off from most social media to both write and plan for 2023 as December usually winds up being busy and distracting. Please don’t be offended if I don’t reply to your comments in a timely manner. I hope to stay off the internet for most of the month, and I’ll be out of town for 10+ days of it.

Let’s start with the Real Life Tip: Check the dates on things like your driver’s license, car registration, and insurance. Note them on your phone’s calendar, so you are reminded when you need to renew.

And here is this month’s bullet journal spreads:

I am not happy with this cover. I started with three offset squares, which are barely visible. In the center, I wrote November. It looked too plain, so I added the flowers and butterflies–too many. Then it seemed to be floating and I wanted some aspect of Zen doodles, so I added more and more and more. I knew about halfway into the Zen doodle part that it was TOO much, but I was committed.

This month’s verse is from James 1:22 (NLT), “Don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.”

I liked last month’s calendar layout with the dates on the right hand page, so I did it again. Then I added a bunch of stickers. 🙂

I kept my Books Read and Words Written page simple, as always, and just added a few stickers here and there.

Last of all is my weekly layout. I wanted something new this time, so I’m trying out a wonky, non-symmetrical, grouping of boxes for the days of the week. If it works, it might stay in for December. 😉

And that’s all folks. It’s late, for me, and I have a long day tomorrow (not the same tomorrow as when you’re reading this, but the tomorrow from when I’m writing it).

Be blessed and remember to be thankful for each day.

Blessings,

Share
