…but you didn’t need me to tell you that, right? Although if you’re like me, you’re still writing 2025 on anything and everything that requires the year.
I am back. I am aiming to start writing again. Consistently. Both here and on some novels. My goal is to publish ONE book this year. I’d also like to get some of my older books in print, but that’s been a goal for a lot of years now. 😀
One thing about blogging, at least for me, is that if I don’t enjoy the topics, I’m not going to post. Last year, I tried to fit myself into a mold that I thought would get me more readers. It failed, because I didn’t post. I hated trying to write devotions once a month. I disliked trying to come up with recipes to post. A HUGE thanks to BookWormMom for her contributions over the last few years. And I would welcome her back, if that’s something she’s interested in doing again.
BUT, what I need to do, and it starts with today’s post, is be true to me. And I am a creative. I enjoy LOTS of creative outlets–bullet journaling, painting, crocheting, furniture design, and probably some more that I can’t think of right now. Oh, wait, writing. LOLÂ You will see some of those in these posts. Some, like writing, are a little harder to blog about, but maybe I’ll continue the story series I had going a few years ago.
Today, you get to see a snippet of my bullet journal for 2026. No explanations needed really, just a bunch of pictures. Maybe they’ll give you some inspiration for your creativity.
I’m using this notebook:

They have several notebook covers. Here’s the link, if you’re interested.
This is my next two pages.

My word for the year is CREATE.
My verse is Gen. 1:27 – God created man in His image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
God is the ultimate creative, and we are created in His image, which makes us creative. Your creativity may not look like my creativity, but it’s there in all of us just the same.
Then comes my future log. I haven’t filled it out yet. It’s still a work in progress.

My goals spread (two facing pages) is next (and last in this section). I was going to white out my goals, but there’s nothing there that’s really personal, so you get to see all the things. I’ve also started the breakdown into monthly goals. It allows me to have smaller, attainable things to do.

I haven’t gotten my January design done yet. I know, it’s mid-January already, but I’m working on it. As you’ll see, doing my BuJo daily is one of my goals. It’s not happening yet, but it’s a goal to make it happen before the end of 2026.
And that’s it for this month.
Happy New Year. May your year be blessed far more than you expect.
Blessings,
