And just like that, the summer is over. I had every intention of posting last week, but Wednesday came and went, and I once again failed to type anything into this box. 😀
WARNING: This is a picture heavy post, so it may take some time to load.
Here are a few of the things I participated in over the summer(pics to follow):
- Cruise to Spain, Portugal, and the Canary Islands.
- Redoing of the flooring in my office in preparation for a new desk, which is still in the design stage. I’m struggling with CAD, but I WILL conquer it and get my new desk and book shelf designed. And THEN, I will conquer the beast of carpentry, with the help of my husband, and build them.
- I got two tattoos. 😮
- Cruise to Norway.
- And lots of rest, relaxation, and making plans for the fall and 2026. Not sure what will happen and what are just dreams, but I’m trying to get my writing back on track. I have the desire to do so, and God has definitely been pushing me a bit to get a move on. 🙂
Here are some of the promised pics:
Spain, Portugal, Canary Islands. I don’t know which pictures are from where for the most part. LOL

Here’s my office redo:

The final picture shows my new flooring and a few pieces of furniture. The empty space on the right is where my custom desk will go. Behind me is where a custom bookshelf will be. If you can zoom in on the last pic, you’ll see stenciled roses on the back wall. They’re more visible in person, but I did want them to be subtle.
Also over the summer, I made two crocheted foxes for my grandchildren. Click the pictures for the free pattern at Graceandyarn.com.

And that’s it for my summer.
How did the last few months treat you?
Blessings,
