Whether you feel like it or not, the answer is yes. 😀
We all need to worship. Sadly, we sometimes worship the wrong things–objects (such as money or valuables), people (celebrities, pastors, kids, spouse, parents), ourselves, or an idea of something we want.
We were MADE to worship.
This last weekend, my church had a women’s conference. It was great. The speakers were insightful. But the thing I enjoyed the most was the worship with hundreds of my sisters–thousands, if you count the 17 campuses where the conference was being aired.
One of the many songs we sang was Gratitude by Brandon Lake.
The words get me every time because it’s so true of all of us. Here’s a snippet:
So I throw up my handsAnd praise You again and again‘Cause all that I have is a hallelujahHallelujahAnd I know it’s not muchBut I’ve nothing else fit for a KingExcept for a heart singing hallelujahHallelujah
What can we give the King of Kings when everything we have is because of Him? We give him our hearts. Our voices. Our WORSHIP!
Take a minute and worship Him right now.
Blessings,
