I haven’t watched why TobyMac wrote this song, but I can guess. Several of my writer friends have lost children in the last few years. It’s been hard to see these precious women and their families be transparent about their grief. I can’t imagine it. And honestly, I don’t want to try.

And to say that my year has been tough doesn’t even come close to what they’ve gone through, but in the same breath, I can say that I DID have a tough year. I came to the point of being like Elijah and just asking God to take me home. BUT GOD was faithful and provided a hand out of my pit when I needed it. He provided wonderful women to pray me through.

He is faithful even when we don’t see it.

I pray whatever 2023 brought your way that 2024 will turn a corner and you’ll see the glory of God in your lives.
