My heart today — 11 Comments

  1. Thank you for this. It make me think of our two sons, still clay fighting the potter, and our daughter, about to start her first teaching job, and is already a lovely teacup, IMHO. You seem to be coming off the shelf nicely. Beautiful post!

  2. Very well expressed….my own feelings. Thank you so much, I know I was meant to see your blog today – I wasn’t familiar with it before. God works in wondrous ways! I was feeling like a failure to my husband and my kids….and God isn’t finished with me yet….and I’m 73 years young.

    Blessed by Grace,

  3. Hi Ginger,

Great post, and timely encouragement 🙂

“It only matters that I am doing what glorifies Him.”

    Amen to that!

Keep writing, the world needs your teacups 🙂

    • I would love to take the credit Sherrie, but I was just writing what God was putting on my heart and, as I said above, the story touched a special place in my heart years ago. Blessings, ~~G

  4. Thank you for this post. I know I was supposed to see it even if it wasn’t just for me. I am dealing with some situations right now and this seemed to describe it perfectly. I found myself asking God this past weekend if He could even hear me and found myself quesitoning…just questioning.

This is what jumped out at me “but at other times it’s through no fault of our own. We ask, sometimes beg, God to take away the trial, but still it remains. I’ve been there—walking through the valley of the shadow of death—where nothing you do seems like the right thing and there’s darkness all around” from your post.

Thank you very much for writing what God laid on your heart.
