This is a week for eating for families all over the United States as we show our gratitude with the “pilgrims” for the bountiful harvest and participate in Thanksgiving.
But it’s not about the eating. Sure the food is an excuse to get together, but don’t we really do it to be with family? Most families miles apart these days. Some years we’re unable to be together, but sometimes we make the extra effort to see those we love, not because of the food, but because of who they are.
This year as you celebrate Thanksgiving…remember it’s not about the food. It’s about the people in your lives. They are who you should be thankful for–even the ones who get on your last nerve. 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving and many blessings,
