Don’t Give Up

I don’t know what you’re going through. And I don’t need to know. Life sometimes sends us “things” that appear to be mountains, but are really bumps in the road. A nuisance to be sure, but as long as our eyes are on Jesus, not insurmountable.

Today, I’m posting a meme I made back in November for NaNoWriMo. Once again Monday snuck up on me. I wish it would quit. 😀

Anyway, the meme is simply the reminder that we shouldn’t give up. Whatever you’re going through, God’s got it. He knows. He cares.

This is a picture of a Butchart Gardens in Canada. It was created in the remains of an old rock quarry. Years of creativity, toil, and money went in to making this one of a kind garden, but the owner never gave up–even when faced with growing things in ROCK.

I urge you to never give up. Even Paul talked about pressing on… Phil. 3:13-14, “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (NKJV)

I would love to pray for you. If you feel comfortable sharing a little about your situation, please do. If not, the simple comment, “Please pray” will be enough. God knows and cares.

Blessings,

    1. God, you know Jennifer’s needs and those of her mother. Give both of them peace and patience, not only with the situation but with each other. While each of us only have 24 hours in the day, I pray that Jennifer’s time will seem to increase and the things that require doing will get done. Give her wisdom on what things to say no to, and how to best tackle the rest. Amen.
