This is day one of this experiment of trying a post a day through the month of December. Some will be Christmassy but not all; I don’t think. I haven’t planned it out well, ie at all. Yet. I am going to work it out, so I can be consistent.
For a child is born to us,
a son is given to us.
The government will rest on his shoulders.
And he will be called:
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6, NLT
It’s cliché, but I wanted to start the month by bringing our focus onto the one who is the reason for the season. I think I’ve posted this song before. I’m not a huge EJ fan, but I love this song because of its words. Worship as you listen and/or sing along.
Father, Abba, thank you that you came, that you were, you are, and you always will be. Thank you for everyone who sees this post. I pray they are blessed as they worship you. Thank you for all the things you are to us, shown to us by the names we assign you. Thank you that you are not limited to our perceptions of you. Guide us through this month as we celebrate the coming of Jesus into this world. Help us keep our eyes on you. In his holy name, Amen.
Blessings,
Amen
🙂
I’ve never heard this one before <3
Glad to bring you a new song.
