Let’s talk Christmas FOOD.
We typically have two meals, breakfast and a mid-afternoon meal.
For quite a few years, we’ve done cinnamon rolls. We started with premade from the grocery store, then my husband started making them. This year, we’re reverting back to canned. It’s simpler, and we don’t need leftovers. 😁
Here are a few recipe sites for cinnamon rolls and other breakfast options.

For our lunch/dinner, we will have turkey, ham, deviled eggs, mashed potatoes and a few other sides that vary, depending on what my kids bring.
For many years, we brined our turkey overnight and then roasted it the old-fashioned way. Two years ago, we tried something called spatchcocking. It’s amazing! The turkey is always juicy—I haven’t overcooked it yet—even the white meat. Here’s a video.
What about y’all? What’s for breakfast, lunch, or dinner at your house (or wherever you go)?
Happy eating, lol,
